Motor Vehicle Accidents
Current laws governing motor vehicle accident injuries require that you receive an assessment by a primary health care practitioner within ten days of the accident.
In BC, chiropractors are considered primary health care practitioners. If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, you should also contact your insurance company immediately to open an injury claim.


Insurance Coverage
Employee health benefit plans often provide coverage for chiropractic care, massage therapy and orthotics. However coverage can vary from plan to plan, so call your plan administrator to see if you are eligible for reimbursement and to find out what restrictions your plan may have.

Physician Referrals
Chiropractors are considered primary health care practitioners in BC, so you do not require a physician referral to make an appointment at our clinic. If you would like to make an appointment for massage therapy and will be submitting your expenses to your health benefit plan, we suggest you check with your benefit plan administrator to ensure your plan does not require a physician referral for massage therapy. Many plans will accept chiropractic care referrals for massage therapy; check with your plan for details or contact our reception staff for assistance.
